College supports resident doctors’ appeal to statutory education bodies
The resident doctors’ committees of the three royal colleges of physicians have today (Thursday 27 February 2025) written to the statutory education bodies appealing their decision to not allow those affected by MRCP(UK) part two exam issues to progress into higher specialty training.

The resident doctor committees of the three Royal College of Physicians have written to the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK, of which the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is a partner, following the news that incorrect exam results were communicated to a group of candidates in the UK and internationally who took the Part 2 written examination in September 2023.
