Overview
Vital Pulp Therapy and Management of the Open Apex is an in-person course that will give you a practical understanding of pulpal and periradicular diseases. This course will help you to develop your operative skills in a hands-on workshop.
By attending this course, you’ll be able to
- Develop skills to perform vital pulp therapies and handle calcium silicate cements
- Explore the biological basis of vital pulp therapies
- Learn the principles of a conservative approach to maintaining pulp vitality
- Recognise the challenges of managing an immature root with a wide-open apex
- Understand the use of calcium silicate cements
- Build proficiency in obturating wide canals with calcium silicate cements
This course is run by Dr Shalini Kanagasingam, UCLan, Dr Phil Thomson, University of Birmingham Dental School and Dr Mohammad A Samad, Tollcross Dental Care.
