The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow Limb Reconstruction Fellowship will give post FRCS orthopaedic surgeons the opportunity to work with the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Limb Reconstruction Unit.

Details

The work will include limb reconstruction for trauma, bone infection, non union, mal union, congenital deformity and leg length discrepancy, with regular orthoplastic clinics and theatre lists. Working with Clinical supervisor: Bilal Jamal, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

In excess of 90 ilizarov frames are conducted each year.

The Fellowship duration is 6 - 12 months and includes complimentary membership of our College as well as the opportunity to join teaching faculty on College courses.
